Hand rehabilitation system for stroke patiants controlling affected hand by normal hand

The purpose of this development is to provide many stroke patients with more opportunities for the hand rehabilitation. To achieve this, the rehabilitation have to execute alone by the patients themselves, and the trainings must be effective without the instructors, and be sustainable by overcoming the sufferings during the exercises. The feature of this hand rehabilitation system is to assist the affected hand motion using the unaffected hand in the opposite side. Because the patients can understand what kind of motion have to execute in the affected hand from their own unaffected hand motions, we are expecting a large effects of the training. The game scores are introduced to bring the patients the motivations for the rehabilitation.
